Deertract North Course up for sale

 
     The North Couse at Deertract Golf Club will go on sale on the Court House steps in Conway, South Carolina.  The bank foreclosure sale will take place on July 5, 2011.  The amount owed to the bank is approximately $ 2,600,00.00.
 
     The North Course at Deertract  located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina was sold several years at the hight of the real estate boom.  The golf course was closed and the property was readied for a housing developement.
 
     Due to surrounding property owners law suits the developement never got started.
 
     Several local businessmen, including Sammy Truett, a former golf professional, now a very accomplished amateur golfer are expected to make a bid to buy the golf course.
 
     If this group is successful with their bid, they hope to have the golf course available for play for the Spring 2012 Myrtle Beach golf package business.
