Myrtlewood Golf Club

Myrtlewood Golf Club is a 36 hole course located on highway 17 bypass.  The Palmetto course with its picturesque views of the Intracoastal Waterway makes this one of the beaches favorites.  The Pine Hills course with its contoured fairways and large greens makes this a perfect companion to the Palmetto.  Myrtlewood-Palmetto, a favorite of golfers visiting the Myrtle Beach area for over 30 years, the Palmetto Course has been continuously ranked as one of the top repeat-play courses along the Grand Strand.  The course is landscaped for optimum play.  The accommodating slope of the fairways, delineation of old growth pines, the ease of tifdwarf bermuda grass greens, and of course hazards, offer the challenge to golfers of every level of play.  At par 72, the 6,640 yards are a consistent demand of your skills.  The Palmetto's Greens are Tiftdrawf  bermuda.
Myrtlewood-PineHills is the first and only design along the Grand Strand by award-winning architect Arthur Hills.  It was formerly known as The Pines, but renamed PineHills in 1993, when Hills redesigned it.  The PineHills course is routed along the same path as it's predecessor, but Hills' skillful use of mounding and strategically placed water hazards gave the course a completely different feel.  The PineHills' Greens are bent grass.  Designer - Pine Hills, Arthur Hills, Palmetto, Edmund Ault
